In 1 Timothy 2:8–10, Paul teaches that corporate worship should reflect the holiness of God’s people. Men are called to pray with holy hands, free from anger and quarreling. Women are called to display reverence through modesty, self-control, and lives marked by good works. Together, the church demonstrates the beauty of the gospel by worshiping God with both reverence and obedience.
As you watch, consider:
• Am I truly part of God’s church through faith in Jesus Christ?
• Do I pray with reverence, holiness, and a heart free from anger and division?
• Does my life reflect humility and godliness when I gather with the church?
• Am I more concerned with honoring Christ than drawing attention to myself?
• Do my actions encourage others to worship God faithfully?
